Who can apply for kits?

Front-line agencies and service providers who hand kits directly to people experiencing homelessness in Toronto and the GTA. Agencies outside the GTA can apply and are reviewed case by case.

When are applications open?

Applications open November 2 and close December 1. Allocations go out by mid-December. After December 1 you can join the waitlist, which we use when kits are declined or unclaimed.

How many applications can my organization submit?

One per organization. If you run several programs or locations, list them all in one application.

When and where are kits picked up?

Saturday, January 16, 2027, in Toronto, in the pickup window we assign to you. The exact address comes with your allocation email. Kits that are not collected are given to other agencies.

Front-line agencies can request Winter Survival Kits for the people they serve. Kits are picked up on Saturday, January 16, 2027.

How it works

Allocations go out by mid-DecemberAbout 3,500 kits are shared across 150 or more agencies each year, and requests add up to far more than that, so most agencies receive part of what they ask for. Ask for what you can hand out before winter ends.
Pick up on Saturday, January 16, 2027In Toronto, in the window we assign you. The address comes with your allocation. Kits that are not collected go to other agencies the same week.
